McGrath wins PC nomination

Nick McGrath was elected as the PC candidate in the district of Labrador West in the nomination meeting Wednesday evening, August 24, 2011.

Three people were seeking the nomination. A total of 749 people cast ballots in the nomination process.

Nick McGrath had 317 votes, Peter McCormack had 270, Mark Nichols had 161, and there was one spoiled ballot.

McGrath is the 45th candidate in place for the upcoming general election.
