Passengers on Air Canada flights can now learn more about Newfoundland and Labrador from the comfort of their seats.
Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation Minister Christopher Mitchelmore announced today, Jan. 4, that the province is the first tourism destination to secure its own content channel on the carrier’s inflight entertainment system.
The new channel, Find Yourself, was launched on Jan. 1 and will be available on Air Canada flights until April 30.
“This new Air Canada inflight promotion is just one component of the 2018 advertising campaign, and is another example of the innovative work of our team at Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism,” Mitchelmore said in a news release.
The channel features six five-minute videos titled “Broader Palette,” “Gros Morne,” “Language Lessons,” “Off the Beaten Path,” “Whale Tales,” and “Peace and Quiet.”
