The difference between the two is that the former is more competitive than the latter and, she added, the latter is done more for the social aspect.
"I just love the game - I love to see so many ladies come out and enjoy this event," she said. "I just hope they support the club and come out and participate in other tournaments, not only the Ladies' Divisional."
Bridget Baker, a dedicated player, according to Saunders, took the A Division, Bev Skanes, an experienced pro, captured the B Division and Lisa Button, a newbie, won the C Division.
It takes a lot to keep up a good handicap, said Saunders, and some of these ladies practice three or four times every week.
She believes, she added, golf is a good game because you can play it as a couple or as a family, and is something fun to do with coworkers or when you get into retirement.
Her goal is just to have a good game of golf, she said, and is happy the event went off without a hitch.
