The 2010 soccer season is well underway for the Labrador West Minor Soccer Association.
Players of all ages have an opportunity to take to the field three to four days a week for practices and scrimmages. Game days occur on Sundays.
The program is a wonderful opportunity for the players to not only develop their soccer skills but to be able to do so in a safe and supportive environment.
Laughs were plenty for the under 14 players at a practice July 21. This particular group clearly enjoyed themselves as they prepped for their up-coming game.
When questioned about the number of balls that went out of bounds, Justine Ryan, volunteer with the Association, said the games that occur at the end of practice sessions are for fun.
Despite the chilly temperatures of late, soccer action will continue to heat up well into the summer with the final sessions to occur later in August.
