Goose Bay man allegedly has stolen goods worth thousands of dollars

A 23-year-old Goose Bay man faces eight counts of break and enter and one for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 following his arrest on Friday.

According to Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP, he is accused of breaking into several cottages in the South Branch Road area. A news release said police managed to recover several thousand dollars worth of stolen goods.

The man was held for bail and later released. He is scheduled to appear in Happy Valley-Goose Bay Provincial Court at a later date.
