A woman in the Labrador community of Natuashish was alleged hit in the head with a laptop computer on Saturday by her daughter.

RCMP in the community was called to the parking lot of a local church sometime in the afternoon.

The victim was taken to the local clinic before being medevac’d to Happy Valley - Goose Bay for treatment.

Police have arrested and charged the victim's daughter with assaulted with a weapon. She is being held for a bail hearing on Tuesday.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the RCMP immediately at 478-8900.
